Bodhi Academy is a cutting-edge program for professionals integrating legal psychedelic facilitation, focusing on psilocybin services. The curriculum blends traditional wisdom with modern research, exceeding licensure standards. Expert faculty, with decades of experience, empower trainees with hands-on skills, harm reduction strategies, and client-centered facilitation techniques.
Innate Path, founded in 2018, specializes in PTSD treatment using ketamine and cannabis-assisted psychotherapy. Initially focused on clinical psychedelic medicine, we shifted to community-centered training in 2020. By 2025, we’ll expand educational offerings to support practitioners and self-healers in mastering psychedelic therapy techniques
Please note that the sessions are subject to change.
Psychedelic therapy and ceremony are invaluable tools for healing, but there is a lot of healing that can and must be done alone. This workshop explores solo work with psychedelics using our innate wisdom which guides each of us towards health and wholeness. The day will be both informational and experiential with the goal of helping you begin or deepen a personal healing practice using psychedelic medicines.
We will compare and contrast a personal practice using psychedelics with therapeutic support, recreational use and ceremonial uses of plant medicines to evaluate which approach will be most helpful for particular aspects of your healing. We will address basic principles of engaging the subconscious so you can self assess your progress while effectively releasing entrenched defenses and traumatic memories as well as shifting negative belief structures. We will also cover how to work with ‘bad trips’, how to understand suicidality and how to know when you need support.
During this workshop you will learn:
- Guidelines to effectively work with the subconscious and body which become accessible through psychedelic use
- How to assess the trajectory and progress of your healing journey
- When and how to get outside support
- Information about a variety of psychedelic medicines including cannabis and psilocybin
The beauty of adding psychedelic therapy to your practice is the access you get to material that lies below the level of awareness. Freud claimed dreams were the royal road to the subconscious, but the body is as well, and when deeply accessed, releases stored emotions and trauma from the bottom up, creating fundamental change that does not rely on the application of insight or analysis. This workshop will teach the basics of a somatic model of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. You will explore how trauma impacts the nervous system, gain an understanding of how trauma lives in the body, and learn how to effectively work with the body and with transference under a low dose of psychedelics to resolve trauma. This workshop is geared toward psychotherapists and other practitioners in related healing fields and can also be helpful for those currently engaging in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy or wanting to learn a specific method or model.
During this workshop you will learn:
- The basics of a somatic model of psychedelic-assisted therapy
how the body holds our traumatic memories and how we can remind the body of its innate ability to heal.
- To effectively work with transference in the therapeutic relationship to help clients release relational wounding
- About the more accessible approach of psycholytic psychotherapy
There is confusion in the psychedelic healing field about what exactly is the ‘therapy’ being used in psychedelic therapy. Find clarity in this workshop while exploring why both ancient indigenous knowledge and specific psychotherapeutic lineages complement and catalyze one another.
During this workshop you will learn:
- The differences in form and function of Indigenous ceremonial use of mind altering plant medicines and medicine-assisted psychotherapy.
- Tools from psychotherapy that support psychedelic work, such as: Somatic therapy, parts work, attachment therapy, updating programing, self-defeating narratives and beliefs.
- To use indigenous tools to support psychedelic work, such as: Setting a ceremonial container, energetic protection and cleansing, maps to a personal experience of the divine, song as a medium for communication with the divine, building a relationship with sacred plants.
Innate Path will provide certificates of completion that can be used toward continuing education and licensure with DORA.

Integration after a psychedelic experience is the key to enduring changes in identity, emotions, behaviors, and daily life. In this presentation, you will learn how to support psychedelic integration, explore verbal and non-verbal tools, and identify challenges that can impede the integration process.
Vibrational frequencies impact the brain and neurological system in powerful ways. In this presentation, you will learn how sound can enhance and support psychedelic preparation before the journey begins, during the psychedelic administration session, and integration after the experience, and what should be avoided to prevent harm. You will experience a sample sound therapy session and the non-ordinary state of awareness it can evoke.

Having a guide or facilitator present for a psychedelic journey is only one out of many harm reduction methods these service providers employ when supporting psychedelic experiences. In this presentation, you will discover several of the key psychedelic harm reduction techniques that are used by trained professionals. You will gain knowledge of important skills for harm reduction that begin in the first meeting with the participant and continue throughout preparation, the administration session, and post-experience integration.
Natural plant and fungi medicines have been used for healing, spiritual awakening, and ceremonial rites since the beginning of human history. In this presentation, you will learn about a variety of spiritual and historical traditions that incorporate the use of these sacred natural medicines. You will explore preparation methods used by ancient cultures and understand how these practices and the use of entheogens are inherently connected to the paths of wisdom held by indigenous practitioners around the world.

Our program offers an in-depth curriculum that meets and exceeds legal state standards for licensure. The curriculum perfectly balances the wisdom of traditional consciousness-based uses of the sacred mushroom with the latest research and proven clinical applications.
Bodhi Academy’s faculty are leading experts in the field of psilocybin services. They helped build the nation’s first legal system in Oregon based on their combined decades of experience and expertise in supporting the use of psychoactive natural medicines. Together they have facilitated more than 100 legal psilocybin sessions. Their focus is on empowering trainees with hands-on skills, proven harm reduction strategies, and in-depth knowledge derived from their extensive professional experience.
A wide range of professional practitioners with medical, clinical, personal growth, and holistic wellness expertise choose Bodhi Academy for their psychedelic training. Our trainees develop skills in non-directive, client-centered communication to support client autonomy, and master the art of facilitation applying empathy, understanding, and unconditional positive regard.

Innate Path, founded in 2018, began as a pioneering clinic specializing in the treatment of PTSD through ketamine and cannabis-assisted psychotherapy. Our initial mission was to set a new precedent for integrating psychedelic medicines into clinical settings, using these substances as powerful tools for trauma processing. Cannabis, in particular, was introduced as an innovative means of accessing and healing deep-rooted trauma, all while fostering a community of well-trained therapists dedicated to the responsible and effective use of these medicines.
By 2020, Innate Path shifted its focus toward education, launching a community-centered training initiative. Our aim was to educate and support local practitioners in mastering the intricate skills needed for the mainstream adoption of psychedelic therapy. This unique training model emphasizes personal experience with these transformational medicines to build practitioners' confidence and competence. Our community of healers, drawn from diverse therapeutic backgrounds, is united by a shared dedication to advancing the field of psychedelic-assisted healing.
At Innate Path, we believe that psychedelics represent more than just a new tool for therapy—they offer an entirely new perspective on mental health. These substances help us access the subconscious mind, the hidden seat of our deepest traumas and conditioned beliefs. Traditional treatments often attempt to suppress symptoms, but psychedelics allow us to rediscover our innate healing capacities. This journey into self-knowledge and healing is the heart of the psychedelic renaissance we are experiencing today.
Our training model, honed over years of clinical experience, incorporates elements of somatic processing, parts work, Buddhist psychology of the mind, and attachment theory. This integrative approach helps practitioners tap into the innate healers within both the body and the subconscious mind.
In 2025, we will expand our educational offerings to support the growing community of self-healers. Our training program includes a 10-week immersive experience, with theory and hands-on practice, where practitioners witness and receive therapeutic psychedelic sessions. Weekly process groups foster community healing, as participants dive deeper into theory and personal growth.
Led by experts such as co-founder Jen Fiser LPC, Andrés Zambrano LPC, and Aviva Bannerman LPC, Innate Path continues to build a legacy of innovative, compassionate psychedelic therapy.
