She has a 15+ year pedigree working in psychedelic circles, along with proven experience helping organizations in the psychedelic industry refine and reach their missions. Justin Davies

Justin Davies is the visionary Founder and CEO of Toronto Ketamine Clinic, established in 2020. With a robust 20-year entrepreneurial background in financial services, Justin's journey into the realm of mental health solutions is deeply personal.

Additionally, he runs the Minority Trip Report, a podcast that showcases underrepresented perspectives in psychedelics and mental health. Dr. Dawn DeCunha

Dr. Dawn DeCunha is a Clinical and Educational Psychologist with over three decades of experience. Dr. DeCunha, who earned her Doctorate from the University of Toronto, initially focused on School Psychology before shifting to a trauma-informed approach serving multicultural communities.

This transformation led her to pioneer psychedelic therapy, including leading clinical trials for psilocybin at CAMH. She is the founder of Psychology Works, a clinic that integrates traditional psychological practices with innovative psychedelic treatments.

Dr. Rohit Ramchandani, DrPH, MPH

Dr. Rohit Ramchandani, DrPH, MPH, Chief Innovation Officer at Huxley Health and IPATH , is a distinguished researcher and educator, holding faculty positions at Johns Hopkins and The University of Waterloo, and is a Fellow at the Balsillie School of International Affairs.

Paul Lewin, a distinguished criminal defense lawyer with over 30 years of practice in Toronto and throughout Canada, is deeply entrenched in the legal landscapes of cannabis and psychedelics.

At Lewin & Sagara LLP, his work spans litigation and advisory roles, focusing on the rights and legal challenges surrounding these substances. His courtroom victories include landmark cases challenging cannabis regulations and privacy laws, with a significant triumph in R v. Howell, which struck down restrictive medical cannabis regulations.

A proactive advocate, Lewin contributed to cannabis law reform as a board member of NORML Canada, influencing policy and public opinion. Peggy Van de Plassche

Peggy Van de Plassche spent 20 years in the financial services and technology industries as an executive, venture capitalist, board member, advisor, entrepreneur and public speaker.

Peggy now focuses her time and energy on the psychedelic industry. She is the founder of The Microdose Diet and The Brain Power Microdose. Her book, MORE! The Microdose Diet - The 90 day plan for More Success, Passion, and Happiness is already available to pre-order and will be distributed in May 2024 by Simon & Schuster.

An experienced public speaker, she participated in more than 50 global events. Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz, MD, is a renowned expert in women’s health, integrative medicine, and menopause management.

She earned her medical degree from the USC School of Medicine in 1996 and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UCLA/Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Gilberg-Lenz is a Diplomat of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and frequently appears as an expert on TV, including as Chief Medical Correspondent for the Drew Barrymore Show.

Rachael Frankford

Rachael Frankford is the founder of New Pathways Therapy Centre, a mental health clinic in Toronto's annex area, specializing in somatic therapies and neurofeedback for trauma treatment.

With over 25 years as a registered social worker, including 15 in hospital settings focusing on chronic health conditions and outpatient psychiatry, Rachael brings extensive experience to her role. Melanie Dignam, MSW RSW

Melanie Dignam, MSW RSW, Senior Psychotherapist at IPATH Health,  is an integrative psychotherapist based in Toronto, ON, Canada, specializing in trauma resolution through evidence-informed practices that emphasize an embodied experience of mind, body, and spirit.

In 2022, she completed her Ketamine Assisted IFS Psychotherapy (KIFS) training at Sapience Therapy in Massachusetts, USA, and Psilocybin Assisted Psychotherapy (PAP) training with TheraPsil. Melanie currently serves as a lead therapist in the CAMH and COMPASS clinical trials, investigating the efficacy of psilocybin in treating treatment-resistant depression.

Cory Firth

Cory Firth is a human-impact leader and advocate focused on advancing mental-emotional health by exploring biological, psychological, socio-environmental, and spiritual aspects of human potential.

After overcoming a 20-year struggle with suicidal ideation, Cory now advocates for compassionate approaches to mental illness. Since 2020, he's pushed for legal psychedelic access in Canada, the US, and the UK, contributing to policy changes and groundbreaking mental health research.

Jay Katz

Jay Katz, the Executive Director of the Canadian Psychedelic Association, is a distinguished non-profit leader with over two decades of experience. His leadership has spanned sectors including the arts, community centers, and foundations, where he served as an Executive Director and COO.

Jay has also coached executives across finance, health services, and social organizations, with a focus on first-time CEOs. Passionate about LGBT causes, he has volunteered on the boards of the LGBT Giving Network, the Mark Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies, and the Art Gallery of Windsor.

Jay is also a board member of Bloom Psychedelic Therapy and Research Institute, advocating for a well-being revolution through psychedelic medicine access and education.

David O'Brien

David O’Brien, the founder of Bwitiboga and an Iboga provider, is a Canadian Infantry veteran who struggled with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. After seeking solutions in Ayahuasca, San Pedro, and Psilocybin ceremonies, he found profound healing with Iboga in 2017.

His first ceremony with this powerful plant medicine transformed his life, providing clarity and tools to overcome his challenges. Driven to deepen his understanding, David traveled to Gabon, trained with Shaman Moughenda, and became a N’ganga (spiritual healer). Since then, he has shared Iboga's healing power worldwide.

His mission is to establish a retreat center in Latin America, complete with traditional African medicine gardens and a Bwiti temple inspired by his experiences in Gabon.



Richard Tyo

Richard Tyo, a former mental health and addictions crisis worker of 13 years, sought alternative therapeutic approaches due to frustrations with traditional mental health treatment. He has trained in various psychedelic therapy modalities, Internal Family Systems, and somatic therapies.

Eight years ago, he founded the Kingston Psychedelic Society to reduce the stigma around psychedelics and create a safe space for education, harm reduction, and community building. Passionate about advocacy and reducing harm through grassroots community building, Richard has been a mentor with Students for Sensible Drug Policy's Pipeline Mentorship program since 2019. He co-founded Neuma in 2022, a community-focused center supporting group psychedelic work and education. He teaches psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy and speaks globally on psychedelics and mental health.​

Arthur Lee

Arthur Lee, a Social Worker, Intake Manager, and Psychedelic Navigator at New Pathways, brings extensive personal and professional experience to the Psychedelic Consultation Service, guiding clients through psychedelic therapy options.

With expertise gained from Ontario and Costa Rican retreats, he supports clients through education and advice. Arthur also facilitates New Pathways’ four-week Expanded States of Awareness Integration Group. He holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University, with a focus on end-of-life care and sensible drug policy.

Dr. Katherine Lawson

Andrew Rose is the SVP of Operations at Fluence, a leading training and education organization in psychedelic therapy. With over 7000 practitioners trained since 2019, Fluence stands at the forefront of this emerging field.

Getting to The Symes

Located near Keele St and St Clair Avenue West, the Symes has lots of free parking is conveniently located near the TTC right of way on St Clair Avenue West.
